So Many Diets so Little Time

At least few times a year a new diet is born. And what follow is a new group of followers and a new group of opponents. There was Atkins Diet and Weight Watchers Diet and South Beach Diet and carbo diet and hundreds other diets. Now popular is Paleo diet.
But you know what? Let me tell you something. I don’t think that there is a one diet that will work for everybody. So there will be always voices against and for it. I am vegan. By my choice. I didn’t choose vegan diet to loose weight. I didn’t need it.I went through vegetarianism to vegan-ism. By my choices and my own reasons. (Not because it is popular,not because some celebrity did it,not to get attention from people).

So now.. I hear about Paleo diet that claims that meat is good. Meat doesn’t lead to cancer, but grains on the contrary, are bad for you. Well.. maybe this diet works for you. Great. Maybe it will work for another 100 people.Awesome. But There will be 100 who will not feel better after starting it.
How possibly could I, a vegan person, change my diet now and start eating meat again? After few years? I can’t even look at it!
I am confused by those diets and what is really healthy, what should I eat, what will keep me healthy. I am confused by all doctors who fight against each other, claim different opinions. I am confused and tired. What I should do is just come up with my own diet. LOL
I will figure out finally what makes me feel good and what I should avoid. Besides obvious gluten.
I will be my own advocate.
Maybe it will work. I hope it will work…. If not.. I will follow some other diet that will be born soon…. As long as it doesn’t have meat and gluten in it. ๐Ÿ˜‰
